Christmas Songs at School Assembly

Friday 4th December we all sang at Bayview School assembly. Luke started us off with singing the Hello echo song. Tessa, Zak, Cody and Lewis starred in the song Pohutukawa Tree. ChanMin was a great Santa who got Stuck up the Chimney and wore a Red Red Suit, with a twinkle in his eye. Fynn ended our recital with The Vegemite Song. The Teachers are so proud of you all, as you all sang beautifully.

FACE SANDWICH DAY

November 13th: Today we made healthy 'face sandwiches'. The children brought in the ingredients from home and constructed them at kindergarten. The only rule: they had to eat what they made. WE ate our 'face sandwiches' outside on the grass 'picnic' style. YUM!!!!!

Tree Planting at Bayview Primary School

Mr Pearce, the school caretaker, invited us to come over to school to plant 50 remaining plants in the school garden. The school has just been gifted 400 plants by the Kaipataki Project to plant in the school grounds. The children all planted at least one plant. When they go to school they will be able to go and check on 'their' plant; and be able to care for it.
