Matariki Celebrations 2009
On Friday 26th June we celebrated Matariki - the Maori New Year, at Kindergarten. This was done with singing of Waiata, the lighting of a candle to remember our ancestors, a feast, and traditional games, a tug o war, a campfire where we toasted marshmallows. IT was a great celebration!!!!!
Queen Neve's Wedding to King Toby
Queen Neve wished to have a wedding. She chose Toby as her King. The wedding was planned on the Tuesday and carried out on the Wednesday. It was a beautiful wedding.........everyone lived happily ever after!
